CPCS Rough Terrain Forklift A14

The CPCS Rough Terrain Forklift (A14) course is designed for individuals who operate, or intend to operate, rough terrain masted or telescopic forklifts on construction and industrial sites. This course equips candidates with the skills and knowledge to operate the machine safely and effectively across a variety of ground conditions.

Course Overview

This course provides detailed training on the operation of rough terrain forklifts, focusing on load handling, safety procedures, and machine maintenance. Participants will learn how to manoeuvre and position loads in challenging environments while understanding site hazards and regulatory requirements. The course is delivered in accordance with CPCS standards and relevant health and safety legislation.

  • Safe maneuvering on rough, uneven, and sloped terrain

Certification

On successful completion, candidates will be awarded the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (A14 – Rough Terrain Forklift). This can be upgraded to the Blue Competent Operator Card upon completion of the relevant NVQ and required site hours.
