Course Overview

This course trains operators to handle loads at height, navigate site hazards, and understand the safe use of hydraulic telescopic booms. It includes load management, machine maintenance, and operational controls.

• Site Safety and Regulations Understanding health & safety, PPE, and risk management.

• Machine Walkaround and Pre-Use Checks Identifying faults and maintenance points.

• Control Familiarisation Using the boom, forks, and attachment points.

• Operating Techniques Lifting, placing, and moving loads across varied terrain.

• Stability and Load Charts Understanding capacity, load centres, and machine limitations.

• End-of-Use Shutdown Parking, securing, and isolating the telehandler.
