CPCS Grader A19
The CPCS Grader (A19) course is designed for individuals who operate, or are looking to operate, motor graders in construction and road maintenance environments. This course equips participants with the skills and knowledge to operate the machinery safely and efficiently, in line with current health and safety regulations.
Course Overview
This course provides comprehensive training on the safe operation and maintenance of motor graders. Participants will gain a strong understanding of grading techniques, site safety, and the mechanical functions of the equipment. The training ensures that candidates are fully prepared for both theory and practical assessments under the CPCS scheme.

- Pre-start checks, maintenance, and shut-down procedures

Course Duration
The standard course length is 3 to 5 days, depending on experience. This includes training, practice sessions, and final CPCS assessments.
Certification
Successful candidates will receive the CPCS Red Trained Operator Card (A19). This can be upgraded to a Blue Competent Operator Card upon completing the relevant NVQ and logging sufficient site experience.
