Narrow Aisle Lift Truck (N007) – NPORS Accredited Course

The NPORS Narrow Aisle Lift Truck (N007) course is for operators of specialist trucks used in high bay racking systems, such as man-up or man-down very narrow aisle (VNA) forklifts. Ideal for logistics, distribution centres, and high-density warehouse operations.

Course Overview

This course teaches safe operating procedures, load handling at height, and effective navigation through narrow aisles using guidance systems. Focus is placed on precision, visibility, and safe working practices at elevated levels.

What the Course Covers

• Warehouse Safety & Regulations Operating safely in narrow racking and pedestrian areas.

• Machine Inspection Daily checks including batteries, safety switches, and guidance systems.

• Control Familiarisation Operating lift height, steering, and guidance systems (rail or wire).

• Load Handling Techniques Placing and retrieving loads at height with minimal aisle clearance.

• Working at Height Safety Fall protection and emergency procedures (man-up trucks only).

• End-of-Use Procedures Returning to charging stations and secure parking.
